|About the Book|
This first volume in the series, Print Networks, publishes the work presented at the 14th annual Seminar on the History of the Provincial Book Trade and brings together practitioners from different backgrounds. Newspapers and book clubs, chapbooks, and printing technology are all common elements of the provincial book trade throughout Britain. These essays touch on several aspects of print distribution and readership as well as the distribution of images which are often as important as the texts they illustrate. Co-published with St. Pauls Bibliographies.
